    In alignment with strategic goals, Tacony is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President, based in either Fort Worth, Texas, or St. Louis, Missouri, to lead its Commercial Floor Care Distributor Channel Division. This key executive leadership position will focus on sales and marketing – that is, driving distributor success, providing strong sales management, influencing continued innovation in product, overseeing sales team leadership as well as sales, brand marketing and national accounts customer service teams in Fort Worth, Texas, and, Truvox leadership in Southampton, England. Our future SVP must bring proven sales leadership and growth, exceptional management experience, successful profit and loss oversight, an owner’s mentality, and, a passion for empowering distributors in an ever-evolving competitive and eCommerce landscape.


    Reporting directly to Tacony’s CEO, the ideal candidate will:

    • MODEL ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP – Be a member of Tacony’s Executive Leadership Team and partner closely with CEO on strategy, operations, sales and marketing planning, and the implementation of long-term goals for the CFC Distribution Channel Division. Model entrepreneurial leadership and a continued commitment to furthering distributor success.
    • INSPIRE HIGH-PERFORMING SALES TEAMS – Provide inspirational team leadership and serve as a sales leadership resource for one (1) VP of Sales as well as one (1) National Account Director, one (1) Sr. Director, OEM & Sales Support, our Managing Director based in the UK, our International Sales Director, and indirectly all national account customer service, inside sales and brand marketing teams based in Fort Worth. Drive team productivity; structure, develop, recruit and retain key players; and, foster a culture of accountability throughout the CFC Division. Visit high profile customers and regions to develop customer partnerships and to further support sales efforts. Measure performance and provide meaningful feedback.
    • ENSURE PROFITABILITY – Partner closely with CFO and CEO to provide effective and proactive P&L management. Drive revenue growth, gross margins and earnings for CFC Distribution Channel Division. Analyze, create, and, present reports and forecasts to leadership. Lead the sales planning and forecasting effort for the distribution, OEM, International and National Accounts division to meet long-term goals for profitable sales.
    • DRIVE COMMERCIAL FLOORCARE INNOVATION & CUSTOMER SUPPORT – Serve as chief thought leader and advisor on commercial floorcare matters to both Tacony customers and internal constituents. Promote experiential sales models. Influence customer service operations to ensure Tacony is cultivating relationships towards increased revenue and loyalty. Manage and resolve issues by coaching, communicating and engaging with the appropriate internal resources.
    • COLLABORATE WITH DIGITAL/eCOMMERCE, ENGINEERING, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, MANUFACTURING & OPERATIONS – Partner closely with eCommerce to identify and implement opportunities to enhance Tacony’s brands and to drive online sales. Influence and align internal stakeholders in operations and engineering through active participation in new product development efforts. Review NPD trigger documents and provide both field and financial input. Ensure that the evolving needs of distributors, OEM partners, international customers and national accounts and changing competitive conditions continue to drive new product development efforts.


    • Minimum of 12-15+ years progressive GM and sales leadership experience, including participation as a senior member of a management team and/or business unit.
    • Experience must include 5+ years in a sales management role with oversight and management responsibilities for regional teams, territory managers, and/or individual sales contributors.
    • Demonstrated success in managing national account relationships, including successful partnerships with big box retailers and/or other major accounts.
    • Proven ability to master knowledge of various markets, to gain competitive research and to manage multiple sales channels.
    • Prior involvement in new product development and related marketing initiatives a must.
    • Prior experience in CPG/retail industries a strong plus.
    • Strong business and financial acumen, including prior P&L management experience.
    • 4-year degree required; MBA and/or related graduate degree strongly preferred.
    • Ability to travel 50%+, including monthly visits to Fort Worth or St. Louis, industry related shows and international travel as necessary.
    • Knowledge of commercial floor care, sanitation, and/or related industries is highly desirable.

    • Solid technology skills, including a proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Salesforce and PowerPoint.
