Due to recent and anticipated growth, Essex is now seeking a dynamic Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR) to join its Executive Leadership Team. Operating under experienced 3rd generation leadership, Essex is intensely focused on people strategy as a means to support growth. Recent acquisition efforts and new product innovation require Essex to take a more strategic approach to HR – not only in the areas of talent acquisition, talent management, and succession, but also in building out the best of its culture and further defining Essex’s employer brand.
The ideal candidate brings demonstrated leadership and HR team management expertise with a desire to craft effective people strategy, to build culture, and to attract, develop, and inspire top talent. The ideal candidate will enjoy flexing in scope and function in an effort to further strategic initiatives while building out critical day-to-day best practices and new procedures.
