    We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to provide the leadership, coordination and personal contributions needed to most effectively communicate and connect with existing and future desired relationships, both externally and internally across North America.  These existing and prospective desired relationships include employees, candidates, clients, suppliers, etc.

    • Lead and facilitate the creation of PayneCrest Electrics’ overall Marketing and Communication Plan including the long term strategy and overall budget.
    • Serve as Project Lead in the development and distribution of internal and external marketing materials including:
      • Business development presentation, materials and proposals
      • Company newsletter
      • Industry specific opportunities
      • College recruitment events
      • Website and intranet
      • Social media
      • Training materials
    • Collaboration with and management of external resources, e.g., PR firms, graphic designers, web design, etc.

    • Oversight of the PCE Brand including assuring a standardized/consistent image and continual reinforcement.
    • Initiation and coordination of internal communications across all PCE locations including both regular and special events, e.g., companywide meetings, safety seminars, etc. as well as newsworthy information. Note: Work in collaboration with Human Resources.
    • Perform secondary market research to identify potential new customers and/or owners as well as new developments in the electrical contracting industry or industries targeted by PCE, e.g., automotive, power, etc.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related area
    • 5+ years of increasing marketing and communications experience in a progressive construction and/or project centric business
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Ability to take the initiative, to facilitate groups and to work well independently as well as a good team player
    • Project management skills required
    • Demonstrated electronic marketing development and management skills, e.g., website development/management, leveraging social media, graphic design software literate, e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint
    • Evidence of ability to support new business conversion, e.g., proposal support, deepening and/or expanding relationships with existing clients
    • Demonstrated track record of assuming greater responsibility and becoming more self-directed to the point of being able to develop and drive implementation of an annual marketing and communications plan
    • Experience with managing outsourced partners, e.g., PR firms, graphic designers, web design, etc.
