    We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to help PayneCrest continue to grow and develop in order to contribute to the success of our clients while creating more opportunities for meaningful work and meaningful relationships for our employees.  This position reports to the President and CEO and plays an integral role in charting and facilitating the exciting and rewarding journey ahead.

    Responsibilities

    • Proactive Leadership – Serve as a member of the PayneCrest Executive Team, partners with Company leadership to effectively carry out the people processes, policies, etc. and reinforces the PCE Way Culture while building the capacity and capability of the organization.
    • Talent Management – Identify and implement best practices for the full lifecycle of employee development including recruitment, orientation, engagement, training and development, performance management, retention and succession planning. Serve as an internal resource and partner to management, employees and fellow colleagues on the executive management team.
    • Day To Day Management of HR Operations – Manage and perform the administrative responsibilities including building the Human Resources Information Systems, assuring productive employee relations, monitoring compliance and continually improving upon communications across the Company.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of progressive experience in multiple aspects of human resources both on the administrative side (processes, employee relations, compensation, communication, performance management, compliance, etc.) and on the leadership and organization side (recruiting, retention, training, talent management, culture reinforcement, i.e., building the people capabilities, etc.).
    • Bachelor’s Degree required. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
    • General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine affinity for people and the ability to relate/connect and constructively confront employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Self-starter with the ability to be quickly comfortable supporting and/or facilitating a group.
    • Familiarity and ability to grasp technology, including proficiency in MS Office applications. Exposure to ATS and HRIS systems is helpful.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be will to, on occasion, travel domestically.

    • Willingness to and interest in the people and work that takes place in the field. (Ok with wearing a hard hat and steel boots to visit a job site).
